Skills gaps and labour shortages continue to be an issue for many Auckland businesses. With an increasingly competitive international market, Auckland’s workforce needs to have the right knowledge, skills and attitudes enabling them to continually adapt to changing business requirements.
A key focus for addressing skill issues in Auckland is better aligning training with businesses needs, and better utilisation of Auckland’s current and potential labour force talents to boost productivity.
