Tourism Industry Supreme Award Winner Just Magic

The Magic Travellers Network's commitment to delivering world-class service to independent international travellers has paid off with their win of the 2008 Air New Zealand Supreme Award at the Tourism Industry Awards held in Christchurch on 5 August.

The annual Tourism Industry Awards, managed by the Tourism Industry Association (TIA) and supported by Tourism New Zealand, recognise the most outstanding businesses in the industry, and in New Zealand.

"The winners of these awards are dedicated to the pursuit of business excellence. With companies like these driving the future of tourism in New Zealand, we can be confident that the industry can overcome some of the challenges created by a changing global market," TIA Chief Executive Tim Cossar says.

The judges said that Auckland-based Magic Travellers Network represents quality in every single aspect of its business. From infrastructure to the way they manage staff, to their outstanding customer service aiming for 100 per cent customer satisfaction.

Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive George Hickton says the award winners have shown they are committed to driving high levels of organisation performance through planning and continuous improvement.
