AucklandPlus has enjoyed a taste of awards success at the 2008 Vero Excellence in Business Support awards.

The awards are designed to recognise all the organisations and individuals that provide quality services and products to small-to-medium sized businesses, which make up 96 per cent of all New Zealand’s businesses.

A finalist in the Public Private Sector Partnership category, AucklandPlus just missed out on the award which was won by NZ Business Forums. However the judges singled out AucklandPlus for a special Highly Commended award - the only finalists honoured in this way.

The awards are judged under the auspices of the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation using the international Baldridge criteria.

The awards were presented following a rigorous and objective evaluation by the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation, using the internationally recognised Baldridge criteria.
