AucklandPlus Board member Rodney Walshe has been honoured for his contribution to the development of a dynamic and world class visitor industry in New Zealand.

Rodney Walshe received the Horwath Sir Jack Newman Award at last night’s New Zealand Tourism Industry Awards in Auckland, while Auckland businesses took out two of the three major category awards.

The Sir Jack Newman Award provides recognition to industry leaders who have helped shape the New Zealand visitor industry through their sustained and tireless efforts.
